Fort Jadhavgadh, a beautifully restored historical fort just 45 minutes from Pune, is an intriguing blend of comfort and heritage. We enjoyed our stay in the Royal Chhavani suite, ample for three guests, showcasing excellent housekeeping and well-maintained facilities. The ambiance is truly captivating, especially the reception area, steeped in Maratha culture. While the plush fort rooms, such as the Maharaja and Maharani suites, provided a slice of luxury, I found the wooden rooms nearby a bit noisy. Dining options were enjoyable at both the buffet restaurant, Payatha, and the a la carte venue, Chajja. The food was freshly prepared, with Payatha's themed performances adding a unique charm. Adventure seekers will appreciate activities like archery and rifle shooting. With its ideal location, Fort Jadhavgadh offers great value for travelers looking for luxury and a dose of history without breaking the bank. A welcoming experience for both the adventurous and those appreciating a royal retreat!
